4th of July

Last year we decided to start a tradition and go to a different city each year so we could experience new 4th of July entertainment and fireworks displays. This year we went to my home town, Guntersville. It was all planned out... stay at my dad's Friday, go to Spring Valley Beach WaterPark Saturday, and watch fireworks Saturday night. Everything went as planned until we realized G'ville's fireworks show wasn't until Sunday night. We had no choice but to have our own fireworks show once we got home.
At the waterpark...
The awesome kid area Walker wanted nothing to do with...

Walker amazed us that day.
He learned to swim a few feet while his face was underwater.

We made it home before dark on Sunday to shoot our own fireworks.
Walker was excited to help his daddy...

Mary Ella enjoyed watching from inside while snacking on some crackers...

Zac decided he was going to make another tradition...
shooting massive fireworks!

Here is a sample of the big ones.
I had to change the picture effects so you could see it...
